Domain Names
Paradise can register your .nz domain name for you!
To register a .nz domain, send an email to webmaster@paradise.net.nz with the following details:
- The domain name you want
- A Registrant name (this can be an organisation or a person)
- Contact name
- Contact email address
- Contact physical address, phone number and fax (fax is optional)
- Written confirmation that you have read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions.
Registering a .nz domain will cost $5 every 28 days. This fee will register a domain name for a full month.

There are three different options for hosting a web site with paradise.net

| Homepages hosting |
You receive 10MB of server space free with any Cable, Paradise ADSL, Jetstart, Paradise 150 or Paradise 250 plan.
To have a domain name pointed at that rather
than the default URL (http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/username/)
it will cost $10 every 28 days. There are a number of
restrictions on this however; upload access to the site
is restricted to paradise.net connections, only one homepages
site is permitted per paradise.net account, the site cannot
be too busy and you can have only static pages. |

| Basic Commercial hosting |
With this plan you're hosted on one of our high end
commercial web servers. Your disk allocation is 20MB.
Again, however, you can only host static pages. Lastly
you have 500MB of traffic for serving. If you go over
the allocated traffic you will be billed at a rate of
35c/MB. Basic Commercial web hosting costs $20 every 28
days. |

| Commercial hosting |
This is equivalent to Basic Commercial web hosting,
with the addition of dynamic and secure content. Secure
content requires that you obtain an SSL certificate from
a certification authority (see www.verisign.com or www.thawte.com
for examples). Dynamic content can be provided by way
of CGI and PHP scripting, optionally including use of
our SQL database (MySQL). Commercial web hosting costs
$50 every 28 days. |

We can point multiple domains at a single
web space free of any additional charge. However, if you
require different content to be displayed for a domain
then you will need to purchase an additional webhosting
plan.
